Water is becoming an increasingly scarce resource. Moreover, the effects of climate emergency, land use changes or pollution make conservation and access to freshwater a global challenge. This sustainable water management is crucial, especially in the context of the drought we are experiencing in some of the regions where we operate. For this reason, it is essential to implement measures to limit its use.
Throughout 2022, we have implemented continuous improvements to optimize water consumption, treating 92% of the water generated in our treatment plants and participating in the native reforestation of the Bogota River basin in Colombia.
